You are different than I could have ever imagined. A challenge to say the least. Heaviness fills the air yet miracles are breaking out everywhere I look. People are hungry for you even when they don’t know it. People are coming to know you. Teenagers are standing firm in their faith in the midst of persecution here! The enemy is hard at work yet my Father is harder at work than the enemy ever could be. The smiles of the ladies who sell flowers in the center light my heart up. The sounds of laughter from the tiny smiles remind me of home. The yes from the people who follow Jesus here is unmatched. They say yes to Him even when they can’t see Him.
We have dealt with sickness, mental health issues, long days but I have never seen God move more. I have never wanted more of God more than I do now. I see how crucial it is to walk with the Father. This squad has become family more than I ever imagined. The love these people have for me is unreal. Thank you God. This has been a time of soaking up the small things. This has been a time of celebrating the small things. This has been a time of praising Jesus’s glorious name in the midst of the graveyard.
