“May your heart be softened”

Yesterday my squad and I were in a time of reflection on how we have heard the Lord during the past few weeks and it was such a precious discussion. Sweet rejoicing as we heard the revelations we were all having. We have SEEN the Lord move like no other these past few weeks and it’s been so fruitful. We then began to worship and a few songs in one of of my leaders Elizabeth stands up and says she feels the need to give a tongue to the group. She is a woman that honors the Lord and is so madly in love with the Father so we knew she was so serious when it came to this. She asked that if any of us got a translation please speak up and in my head I was like “that would be so cool but God would NEVER use me for that”. She began to speak in tongues and so vividly I hear and see “MAY YOUR HEART HE SOFTENED”. It was a crystal clear picture of those 5 words. I was hesitant to speak up because I doubted that I could be used for this. I felt such an urge to speak but kept quiet for a minute. Then I finally got the courage to speak up and when I did I felt such a sense of peace and relief. I then open my Bible to 1 Samuel 6 that I was about to begin reading and one of the first verses said “WHY DO YOU HARDEN YOUR HEARTS?” WOW. God right then and there confirmed that He was at work and that I was being used in new ways. I could not stop smiling because the Lord gave me so much comfort from scripture. Goodness my sweet Abba Father is good. His power is beyond us. His will is for us. He is good.
